With an estimated 3.6 billion disposable nappies being thrown away in the UK each year, NLWA (North London Waste Authority) wanted to run a campaign to encourage parents to give reusable nappies a go. We went round North London for two days and interviewed parents who had converted, and asked them about the pros and cons.
The passion some of the parents had for pointing out the positives aspects of using reusable nappies was clear. Along with the marketing campaign, NLWA also offered a voucher of up to £70 voucher to get started.
So… to all new parents, fancy giving this a go? Switching to reusable nappies could prevent nappy rash, support early potty training and save you money.
